Trim, Molding & Baseboard
Trim is the difference between a finished room and an unfinished one. Most rooms have it; most rooms have it at least slightly broken — kicked baseboard from the vacuum cleaner, separated corners where the house settled, gaps at the floor line after new tile went in. Getting it right takes accurate miters and patience. Getting it wrong is obvious to everyone who walks in.
What’s included
- Measure and layout for accurate miter cuts at inside and outside corners
- Install with finish nails, properly set and filled
- Caulk all seams where trim meets wall and floor
- Nail-hole fill and sand, ready for paint
- Paint on request — otherwise delivered prime-and-paint-ready
Common situations we handle
- New baseboard run after flooring installation
- Kicked, scuffed, or separated baseboard sections
- Crown molding accent for a single room
- Chair rail installation
- Shoe molding or quarter-round after new flooring
- Replacement of broken or water-damaged sections
- Window and door casing repair or replacement
A single room is usually a day’s work. A whole-house trim run is a multi-day job — priced by the linear foot and the complexity of the corners.
