You bought the thing. It just needs to go up. Ceiling fans, light fixtures, faucets, TV mounts, smart thermostats — all of these are quick when you know what you’re doing and a long frustrating evening when you don’t. The packaging always says 30 minutes. It never is.

What’s included

• Confirming you have the correct hardware and a compatible junction box or supply line
• Secure mounting — into studs, with drywall anchors, or with added blocking as the situation calls for
• Line-voltage electrical hookup for like-for-like fixture swaps (existing circuit, no new wiring)
• Level alignment, final adjustments, and a function test before leaving
• Cleanup — no drywall dust on the counters, no packaging left behind

One note on scope: new electrical runs — new outlets, new switches, panel work — need a licensed electrician. Joel handles swaps and mounts on existing circuits, not new wiring.

Most fixture installs finish in one to three hours. TV mounts with in-wall cable concealment take longer depending on the wall construction.
