Blinds & Shades Install
Hanging blinds yourself is one of those projects that sounds easy until you’ve drilled three holes in the wrong spot and the bracket is still crooked. The real work is getting every window at the same height, every blind the same length, and every mount sitting level — especially in older Florida homes where nothing is quite square. Joel measures, cuts to fit, and mounts clean so the finished room actually looks finished.
What’s included
- Measure for inside or outside mount, depending on window depth and your preference
- Level bracket installation into studs or with proper drywall anchors
- Cut blinds to width if needed — most faux wood and aluminum blinds can be field-cut
- Remove old blinds and clear the debris
- Full install and demo that the blind or shade operates correctly
Common situations we handle
- Full-house blinds refresh after move-in
- Single-room replacement — one bad set, one afternoon
- Motorized shade installation (where an outlet is nearby)
- Plantation shutter mounting
- Blackout curtain rod install for bedrooms
- Vertical blinds for sliding glass doors
A full-house blinds job is typically a half-day. Single rooms usually take about an hour per window, depending on the product.
