# Screen Repair in South Florida

A torn window screen or a bent patio door slider doesn't mean you need to order a new one. A small tear that's caught early is a 15-minute fix — re-mesh the affected area or pull out the old spline and set a new one. Even larger damage to the frame can often be patched or reinforced without a full replacement.

## What we do

- Cut a new mesh patch and glue it over small tears (quick fix)
- Remove and replace the spline holding mesh in the frame
- Install new mesh material in frames with track-mounted or grooved edges
- Repair bent frame corners with bracket reinforcement
- Fix bent or broken sliders and rollers on sliding-door screens

## When a repair makes sense over replacement

- Torn mesh in a door screen that's otherwise sound
- Spline cracked or dried, letting mesh sag but frame is fine
- One corner bent but the rest of the frame is square
- Slider wheels worn but track is aligned (just swap the wheels)
- Older screens worth salvaging because they're built heavy

New screens aren't cheap, and landfill space is limited. Fix what's fixable. Most screens last decades if you maintain them.
