Stringing lights from your roofline, gutters, palms, and landscaping is festive and fun — until you’re climbing a ladder in December. Professional installation means safe mounting, proper electrical setup, and lights that stay secure in Florida wind. Take-down in January is just as important so nothing gets damaged by sun or weather left up year-round.
What we do
- Plan the layout and light placement for visual impact and even coverage
- Install clips or fasteners (never nails, which damage gutters and gutters)
- String lights along rooflines, eaves, and landscaping
- Anchor strands securely so wind and weather don’t toss them around
- Connect to outdoor outlets with proper weatherproof connections
- Test all lights before final placement
- Return in January for careful removal and storage
Holiday lighting considerations
- Roof access: we use safe ladders and fall protection for multi-story heights
- Outlet location: existing outdoor outlets simplify setup; extension cords are a last resort
- Light type: LED strings use minimal power and last; older incandescent are breakable and hot
- Weight and wind: lights and cords can catch wind; proper anchoring prevents damage
- Storage: we can store lights safely over the off-season if space is tight
A professionally installed light display looks polished and doesn’t stress your home. Safe installation and thoughtful removal keep everything looking good for the holidays and beyond.
