Dishwasher Installation

Replacing your old dishwasher? We install the new one and hook up the water and drain lines.

A dishwasher installation is usually a straight swap if you’re replacing an existing unit. The cabinet opening is ready, hot-water supply is nearby, and the drain is plumbed. We disconnect the old unit, slide in the new one, and connect water and drain. If you need new supply lines or re-routing the drain, that’s still manageable — just a bigger job.

What we do

  • Remove the old dishwasher and disconnect water inlet and drain hose
  • Inspect the cabinet opening and prepare it for the new unit
  • Position the new dishwasher in the opening and level it
  • Connect the water inlet line (hot water supply)
  • Connect the drain line to the sink trap or disposal
  • Test for leaks and run a cycle to confirm operation

When installation gets more complex

  • Existing supply line is corroded or kinked (replace with new)
  • Drain is too high or poorly positioned (reroute with new hose)
  • Cabinet opening is too small or too large (modify cabinet opening or use filler panels)
  • Electrical needs a dedicated outlet (electrician scope)
  • Gas line needs capping or moving (plumber scope)

A straight swap in an established opening is a half-day job. Anything requiring new lines or cabinet work adds time and cost. We can help you scope what’s involved before you purchase.
